Mike has been composing for TV, film and media since 2013. Within 2 months of getting a showreel together as a TV composer, he had signed more than 5 pieces of music to New York-based library, Organic Music Library. In the same year he also won a pitch to score American movie Life At These Speeds with a track he co-wrote with Irish composer Éanán Patterson. The movie is currently in pre-production.
Since 2013, Mike has had well over 300 tracks released by numerous production companies and labels including Extreme Music, 9 Lives (EMI), Beds & Beats (BMG), License Lab, MYMA, Score Productions (BMG), Score Addiction (Universal), Imagem, Gothic Storm, Brand X (US), Lovely Music, Minim Music, Reliable Source, Immediate Music, Eon Sounds, Organic Music Library and Premium Beat, resulting in placements on many tv channels around the world.

To hire Mike to compose music for your TV, film or media project, please email with as much information as possible. Please include deadline for project if possible. If Mike has other work on, it is sometimes possible to jump the queue if it is a tight deadline and exciting project. Obviously as long as other clients aren’t let down in doing so.
He is also very happy to collaborate on any project. So, if you’re a composer and would like a co-conspirator that works efficiently, creatively and quickly, get in touch. Over the past 5 years, Mike has collaborated with numerous composers on projects and co-written many tracks with renowned composers including Josh Phillips, Chris Pennie, Dirk Ehlert, Michael Maas, Chris White, Oliver Sadie, Chris Nairn and Éanán Patterson.
TV Composer
Mike has written a wide range of styles for production music libraries and as a TV composer, including rock, folk, indie, orchestral hybrid, tension, metal, reggae, news themes, body percussion tracks, to name a few. It’s very rewarding to release your music to the industry but even more so when you see it being used on popular tv shows. Mike has had tracks used on X Factor, Top Gear, Come Dine With Me and hundreds more shows globally. For 2018, Mike has set himself a goal of releasing 100 tracks to industry. As of October, he is at around 87. Nearly on target.
Please get in touch if you work for a production music label. He’s very happy to work to briefs set by labels or to even come up with his own for consideration. He is also happy to write an entire album, complete with edits, or to collaborate and share the work. Either by co-writing tracks or splitting the number of tracks between numerous composers.
